Yatse can control most network AV receivers via dedicated plugins.
Since each receiver brands use specific protocols, Yatse use different plugins to control different receivers.
Just install the plugin corresponding to your AV receiver, then configure it inside Yatse. Please note that some plugins are not written or maintained by Yatse author and support should be directed to their authors.
• Yamaha receivers: Yamaha receiver plugin on Play Store
• Onkyo/Integra receivers: Onkyo/Integra receiver plugin on Play Store (Not maintained by Yatse)
• Denon/Marantz receivers: Denon/Marantz receiver plugin on Play Store (Not maintained by Yatse)
• Generic UPnP plugin, can work on many different receiver models, should be tested if the dedicated one do not work or not exist.
UPnP receiver plugin on Play Store
If your device brand is not supported and generic UPnP plugin does not work, you can try to write your own plugin thanks to Open Source API. See the last part of this page.
Audio/Video receiver plugins are associated with Media Center host.
To select and configure plugins all you need to do is edit your host configuration and go to the advanced tab. (See Configuring Yatse for details)
Click on the 3 dots button to select the Plugin.
If you already have a plugin selected you can directly click the configure button
Choose the plugin from the list.
If no plugin is available or your receiver brand is not listed, then press the more button to download some.
Please note that not all receivers are available but the API is open source and documented on: Github so anyone can build new plugins.
You should check this website and Social Networks for announcement when new plugins are made available.
Upon selection, the plugin specific dialog will be shown to configure it.
The API to create Audio/Video receiver plugins is open source and documented on Github:
