Licenses issues and solutions

There are a few different types of licenses that unlock all application options in Yatse.
Whichever one has been purchased, your license is a permanent one and there's never any need to buy a new one to keep the same level of functionality.
Licenses are tied to accounts and that there is no possibility to migrate between license types or to change the associated account.
Please note that it is not possible to purchase the application during the free trial, option return when it ends.

1) Identify the type of Unlocker you have purchased

In-App purchase (Google Play Store): This is the most common type of Unlocker if you purchased Yatse after July 2014. It appears on your Google Payments as: Yatse Unlocker (Yatse: XXX) or Yatse Unlocker (In-App) (Yatse: XXX). This unlocker is fully integrated into the application and does not require anything to be activated on other devices or after new installation.
Legacy Unlocker (Google Play Store): This unlocker was used as an external application when Yatse was first created. It is still supported but should no longer be purchased by new users. You probably have this unlocker if you purchased it a very long time ago. (It appears on your Google Payments as just: Yatse Unlocker or Yatse Unlocker (Legacy)). It is normal that Play Store refuses that you install this unlocker if you have purchased the In- App license.
Amazon Store In-App purchase: This is the only unlocker that was available on Amazon store, until Amazon removes Yatse from it's store.
Paypal Unlocker: This is the unlocker purchased from our website when you do not trust Google Play Store (Works without Google Play Store or Google Play Services). It is however recommended that you use the Google Play Store In-App purchase for both ease of use and a little lower price.

2) Apply the section corresponding to your unlocker type

Known problems (general):
• Titanium backup restored license information can be incorrectly detected as an attempted license hack. Please ensure that you re-install Yatse from the Play Store each time to resolve this. We recommend that if you need to re-install Yatse, to use the built in Yatse Cloud Save feature to save and restore your application settings.
• The Play Store needs your phone to have a correct date, time and time zone. Be sure to have those set correctly.

Known In-App problems:
Lucky Patcher breaks Play Store licenses checks, so please disable all In-App emulation functions if Yatse is telling you that the In-App purchase is not ready. (Uninstall is not enough!)
• If you have a not so legit Unlocker apk on your phone you will need to uninstall it and then clear the Yatse application data (or uninstall then reinstall Yatse)
• Yatse In-App performs a licenses check over the internet on a regular basis when launched. Currently Ad Block Plus prevents this check from working. You will need to disable ad block if the license invalidates so it can validate itself once again.
• Check that Yatse has internet access and can access http://genimee.com/test. Ensure that this is not blocked by any other security tool or firewall.
• If you have multiple accounts on your device, please be sure to install Yatse with the account associated with the in-app purchase. The easiest way is to uninstall Yatse from your device and then push the re-install from the web based Google Play Store on a computer when logged with the correct account.
• If you have just purchased Unlocker via the In-App option, it can take a couple of hours to be available on all your devices. This is due to how Google replicate and validate the licenses over multiple devices. Just wait a little time. If you go to the buy screen and validate that it says already purchased then reboot the device.
• You need to have data sync enabled for the Google account you made the purchase. (Android settings / Accounts / Google / App data sync)
• Play Store bug can be solved by enabling then disabling the Biometric authentication settings (Or the other way around if you use that option)

Known Legacy Unlocker problems:
Lucky Patcher breaks Play Store licenses checks, so please disable all In-App emulation functions if Yatse is telling you that the In-App purchase is not ready. (Uninstall is not enough!)
• The Google Play Store has some problems with multiple accounts and license checks. Please be sure to install the Legacy Unlocker with the account associated with the app purchase. The easiest way is to uninstall the Unlocker from your device and then push the re-install from the web based Google Play Store on a computer when logged with the correct account.
xPrivacy can break the Legacy unlocker license verification if you remove some permissions.
Play Store cache corruption, can some times occur and invalidate the license. If this happens, uninstall both Yatse and the Legacy unlocker applications, clear the Play Store cache then install them once again. (Again, consider using the Yatse Cloud Save feature for easy saving and restoration of your hosts and settings).
• Play Store bug can be solved by enabling then disabling the Biometric authentication settings (Or the other way around if you use that option)

• The Amazon Store needs your phone to have a correct date, time and time zone. Be sure to have those set correctly.

Known Amazon In-App problems:
• If you have a not so legit Unlocker apk on your phone you will need to uninstall it and then clear the Yatse application data (or uninstall then reinstall Yatse)
• You cannot install Yatse from Play Store then update to Amazon version. You need to do a fresh install from Amazon or Amazon In-App will not detect the purchase.
• You cannot update Yatse from Play Store when you purchased on Amazon.

Remark:
Yatse is not more distributed and updated on Amazon store as Amazon decided to remove Yatse from their store without any explanation. There is nothing we can do about that as it's an unilateral decision.

Known Paypal problems: (Purchased from the Website, not the Paypal app in Google Play)
• When you buy Paypal Unlocker, you register it for a specific mail account. This account needs to be on your device for license validation. This account can not be changed later!
• You need to have the purchased Unlocker installed on your device.
• You need to allow the Unlocker permission to read accounts on your device. (Do not forget to check your xPrivacy, xPosed or similar tools settings)
• If you have lost your Unlocker, you can just enter your mail again in the purchase dialog box. You'll be sent the details again by email. (Website)
• If Google changed your mail from @gmail.com to @googlemail.com or vice versa you can revert this change back by following: Google FAQ

3) No solution did work, or you do not understand some points

Be sure to have properly identified your unlocker type and applied all the points of the FAQ, then please contact us for help with:
• Your Order Number (mail from Paypal, Amazon, Google or listed at Google Payments).
• Logs (Debug logs). To have more details when gathering logs, please click on the purchase Unlocker again to get the error message!
• Your details or questions about each of the FAQ points corresponding to your unlocker type.

Support will not be able to help without all those information.

Remarks:
• You can access your order history at Google Payments if you have lost the purchasing email.
• Yatse supports multiple kinds of Unlockers that work differently depending on where and when your made your purchase, but all provides the same functions.
• Licenses purchased on Google Play Store are tied to your Google account, so will work on any device using the same account.
• Licenses purchased on Google Play Store are tied to your Google Account and Google does not offer any mechanism to migrate your license to another account.
• If you purchased the unlocker as a separate Google Play app (Legacy Unlocker), you'll need to continue to install it as there's no way to transfer the license to In-App license. (You need to install it when changing phone or resetting your phone to activate the license)
